Clinical Research Coordinator Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to fill the role of Clinical Research Coordinator.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and managing all aspects of clinical research studies from initiation to closeout, ensuring timely and accurate completion of tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate study start-up activities, including protocol review, regulatory document preparation, and site feasibility assessments.
  • Screen, recruit, and enroll eligible participants according to study protocols, maintaining accurate records and communicating effectively with study participants and sponsors.
  • Obtain informed consent from participants, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines and institutional policies, and monitor participant adherence to study protocols.
  • Schedule study visits, perform study assessments, and collect study data accurately and in a timely manner, identifying and reporting any discrepancies or concerns.
  • Communicate effectively with study participants, principal investigators, study sponsors, and other study team members, fostering strong relationships and ensuring seamless collaboration.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as biology, chemistry, or nursing.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of clinical research principles, regulations, and guidelines, including Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and Institutional Review Board (IRB) requirements.
