Our organization seeks a skilled Financial Due Diligence Expert to drive strategic growth and enhance our team's capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of the business, its competitive positioning, strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and challenges.
  • Lead client services as an Engagement Manager, overseeing project execution and ensuring high-quality deliverables.
  • Lead a team during project execution, review reports, and provide valuable insights.
  • Interpret and analyze information memoranda, business plans, and publicly available data on the target business.

You will be responsible for producing quality deliverables within agreed timescales, briefing senior management accordingly. On larger deals, this may involve creating discrete sections.

  • Review and analyze historical trading, cash flow, and balance sheets.
  • Evaluate projections and underlying assumptions.
  • Assess operating trends, quality of earnings, maintainability of EBITDA, working capital & cash flows considerations, net debt, etc.
  • Identify key issues related to the deal, assess their impact on valuation/price consideration, and advise on ways to address them.
  • Build and manage good relationships with clients.
  • Evaluate compliance with risk management procedures and activities.
  • Proactively resolve (with Partner support) risk issues in delivering services to clients.
  • Contribute to knowledge sharing efforts, review processes, and continually improve them so that the team and firm capture and leverage knowledge.
  • Effectively build and manage a team, serving as a strong role model, mentor, and coach.
  • Work on business development, proposals, and cost estimates.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:
  • Relevant degree in a finance-related field or equivalent experience.
  • Strong background in financial analysis, accounting, and due diligence.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lead teams and manage multiple projects.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • High level of integrity and discretion.
