We are seeking an experienced Technical Expert to join our team and contribute to the development of innovative software solutions for the automotive industry.
Job Summary
This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and test cutting-edge software features for various automotive applications.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, excellent technical skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serves as the primary point of contact for feature realization within their domain, ensuring 100% feature coverage.
- Provides commitment for milestones and sprint releases, tracking progress and escalating risks or dependencies affecting deadlines.
- Analyzes and understands assigned customer requirements specifications (CRS) and change requests, soliciting clarifications from stakeholders to ensure timely feasibility assessments.
- Interfaces with customers to clarify assigned features and obtain approval for deviations from customer specifications.
- Leverages strong technical expertise to manage and facilitate the resolution of defects within their domain, providing direction as set by program managers.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in software development, preferably in the automotive IVI or head unit domains.
- Strong technical expertise in Rear View Camera, 360 Camera, City Parking, RCTA, DoP, ODS, Trajectory, and GSRV2 Regulations.
- Proficiency in real-time multi-threaded software design and development, system programming using IPC, synchronization primitives.
- C/C++ programming language expertise.
- Linux/RTOS operating system knowledge.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics or Computer Science.
Compensation and Benefits:
HARMAN International offers a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
