Regulatory Operations Manager

The position of Regulatory Operations Manager is available in a dynamic and rapidly evolving environment. This role requires an individual with extensive experience in regulatory reporting, banking product lifecycles, and customer onboarding processes.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Conducting comprehensive audits and compliance checks to ensure adherence to regulatory standards.
  2. Monitoring and implementing daily regulatory compliance requirements.
  3. Developing and maintaining robust internal control frameworks for banking products.
  4. Implementing and tracking regulatory circulars, with a specific focus on KYC-related guidelines.
  5. Preparing and submitting timely and accurate regulatory reports as per jurisdictional guidelines.
  6. Reviewing, validating, and reconciling data sources used for regulatory reporting, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  7. Conducting periodic reviews to ensure customer onboarding and lifecycle management processes align with regulatory standards.
  8. Collaborating with internal teams including Finance, Risk, and Compliance to gather data and ensure accuracy in reports.
  9. Maintaining strong documentation and audit trails for all submissions.
  10. Supporting data submissions to compliance, internal audit teams, and regulators.
  11. Leveraging data analytics for insights, ensuring proficiency in data extraction, manipulation, and reporting.
  12. Assisting in the implementation of new regulatory reporting requirements and upgrades to reporting systems.

The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of KYC regulations and related circulars, as well as a strong understanding of banking product lifecycles and customer onboarding processes. The ability to provide thought leadership and process improvement initiatives is also essential.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Graduate/Post-graduate degree in a relevant field.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and SQL.
