Job Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned Engineering Leader to spearhead the development of an AI-powered Autonomous Cloud Portal. This role requires strong leadership, architectural understanding, and deep hands-on experience in cloud-native systems, AI/ML integration, and DevOps practices.

About the Role:

This is a challenging opportunity for an experienced engineering leader who can drive the full software development life cycle (SDLC), manage multiple engineering teams, and ensure timely, secure, and scalable delivery of product features.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Team Management:

  • Build, lead, and mentor cross-functional teams including backend, frontend, AI/ML, QA, and DevOps.
  • Create an engineering culture focused on innovation, ownership, quality, and continuous improvement.
  • Facilitate hiring, training, and performance management across engineering roles.

Technical Strategy & Execution:

  • Define and execute the engineering roadmap aligned with business goals and product strategy.
  • Ensure best practices in architecture, security, scalability, testing, and CI/CD.
  • Review technical designs and code to ensure high standards and feasibility of AI-driven features.

Cross-Team Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with Product Management, Solution Architects, and Cloud Architects to deliver seamless features.
  • Ensure coordination between teams for planning, sprints, releases, and documentation.
  • Own stakeholder communication related to technical deliverables and team velocity.

Process & Governance:

  • Establish Agile practices, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to drive project accountability.
  • Implement engineering KPIs, QA standards, and incident handling processes.
  • Ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements in cloud environments.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 10+ years of engineering experience, with 3+ years in leadership roles.
  • Strong background in Python, FastAPI/Django, DevOps pipelines.
  • Familiarity with system design, microservices, AI integration, and distributed systems.
  • Proven ability to build, scale, and manage high-performing engineering teams.
