About the Role:
We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Financial Manager to lead our SAP RTR function in Bangalore. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving financial excellence and process improvement across our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with Project Managers to identify roles, responsibilities, deliverables, and timelines for RTR involved areas and ensure execution.
- Validate and sign-off solution design, effort estimation, and timelines provided by Service Providers in SAP RTR.
- Set up acceptance criteria and ensure knowledge transfer from Project teams to SAP Support teams for RTR.
- Orient record-to-report processes to increase revenue, accelerate cash flows, reduce cost of sale, enhance profit margins, decrease days outstanding, risk reduction, and statutory complaints and financial reporting of respective legal entities.
- Work with SAP Support & Business teams to resolve critical support issues (incidents) in SAP RTR.
- Improve efficiency and effectiveness of Finance processes and enhance quality, accuracy of finance data to drive higher business team satisfaction through faster response times.
- Engage with Business to challenge, validate, and finalize new requirements in SAP RTR to maintain standard templates and best practices.
- Own business solutions in end-to-end RTR area.
- Anchors independently on new Projects/Work Packages/Change requests in the RTR.
- Develop and maintain knowledge repositories and ensure all technical documents are up-to-date in SAP RTR.
- Work with Technical Leads to suggest upgrades, patches, and notes application in SAP RTR.
- Validate and confirm solutions, efforts/timelines estimations provided by service providers in SAP RTR.
- Work with SAP Support teams & Business teams to resolve critical support issues in SAP RTR.
- Interact periodically with business stakeholders for SAP RTR.
- Work with Project Managers to identify roles, responsibilities, deliverables, and timelines for RTR involved areas.
- Possess thorough knowledge in inter-function modules of sales, purchases, and production areas.
- Set up acceptance criteria and ensure knowledge transfer from Project teams to SAP Support teams for RTR.
- Adhere to Project Management Office processes.
- Coordinate audits for SAP-related queries in SAP RTR with Applications Support teams.
Critical Success Factors:
- CA/MBA(Finance) or minimum 10+ years finance domain experience.
- Minimum 8-10 years SAP RTR experience.
- Minimum 3 full life-cycle project implementation in SAP S/4 HANA RTR Module.
- Expertise in end-to-end RTR process including masters like Chart of Accounts, General Ledger, Cost/Profit Centres, Costing, etc., and processes like Accounts Payable, Receivables, Production Costing, Cost allocation, Banking reconciliation, and Asset accounting.
- Expertise in Taxation, Financial Reporting & Legal compliances especially India and International standards.
- SAP Interface with third-party applications banking, vendor/customer portals, taxation, etc.
- Good cross-module knowledge with Procurement/Sales and Distribution/Production processes.
- Self-motivated and interested in innovation-led working atmosphere.
Desirable Success Factors:
- Experience in FMCG domain.
- Experience in small to mid-scale MNC organizations.
- Driving operational excellence, agility, and innovation across supply chain and sales and distribution.
