We are seeking an exceptional technology leader to spearhead the design and implementation of our data platforms. This is a challenging opportunity for a visionary individual who can drive innovation, collaboration, and delivery across our global teams.

The successful candidate will have a strong track record of leading technical projects from concept to delivery, with a deep understanding of cloud-based infrastructure, data engineering, and software development principles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Leadership & Delivery: Lead cross-functional teams to define and deliver technical roadmaps, ensuring timely completion of projects and alignment with business objectives.
  • Architecture & Direction: Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement data platform architectures, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
  • Data Pipelines: Design, build, and operate efficient data pipelines that handle large volumes of data, ensuring high-quality output and minimal latency.
  • Transformations & Modeling: Develop and implement data transformation and modeling strategies that meet business requirements, using techniques such as SQL, Python, and data visualization tools.
  • APIs & Integration: Develop RESTful APIs and integrate them with internal systems, ensuring seamless data exchange and adherence to security standards.
  • Infrastructure & DevOps: Manage cloud resources, automate deployment and testing, and ensure continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) practices are followed.
  • Observability & Reliability: Implement monitoring and logging tools to ensure system reliability, performance, and security, identifying areas for improvement and driving enhancements.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong Technical Background: Proven expertise in cloud-based infrastructure, data engineering, and software development, including languages such as Python, Java, or C++.
  • Leadership & Collaboration: Excellent leadership and communication skills, with experience in managing cross-functional teams and collaborating with stakeholders.
  • Cloud Computing: Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, with experience in designing and deploying scalable and secure cloud-based architectures.
  • Data Engineering: Strong understanding of data engineering principles, including data warehousing, ETL, and data quality.
  • DevOps & Automation: Experience with CI/CD tools, containerization, and automation scripts, ensuring smooth deployment and operation of systems.
  • Security & Compliance: Understanding of security principles and compliance regulations, with experience in implementing secure data storage, transmission, and processing.
