Payroll Manager Role

As a seasoned professional in payroll management, you will oversee end-to-end payroll operations for our organization. This entails timely and accurate processing of employee salaries, ensuring compliance with relevant labor and tax regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage monthly payroll processing to guarantee accuracy and timeliness.
  • Validate and reconcile inputs such as attendance records, leave records, salary revisions, and variable pay.
  • Ensure full compliance with statutory requirements including PF, ESI, PT, TDS, gratuity, and other applicable laws.
  • Handle employee queries related to salary, taxation, and payroll policies.
  • Prepare comprehensive payroll reports and analytics for management review.
  • Stay updated on changes in labor laws, taxation, and statutory compliance.
  • Support process automation, audits, and continuous improvement in payroll systems.

Requirements:

  • Graduate or postgraduate degree in Commerce, Finance, or Human Resources.
  • MBA/PGDM or CMA/CA certification is preferred.
  • A minimum of 7-10 years of experience in payroll management, specifically in India.

Technical Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of payroll systems, including SAP and ADP.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, particularly advanced formulas and reconciliations.
  • Knowledge of income tax and statutory compliance.

Behavioural Skills:

  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
