Overview of the Data Management Group (DMG)

DMG is a strategic pillar responsible for maintaining research content quality and accuracy.

As a DMG Associate, you will manage and scale a best-in-class research team to own the updates process globally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality financial, market, and business research updates within targets.
  • Regularly review team-executed updates, identify quality issues, and address them via training.
  • Support hiring research analysts to meet group headcount and content targets.
  • Train, develop, and motivate team members, fostering continuous learning and growth.
  • Continuously identify improvement opportunities and execute data improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in a mid-level role for a shared services/competence centre or research centre based in India.
  • Experience and affinity with the PE & VC market is beneficial.
  • Successful team management with ~10 or more FTEs.
  • Detailed company analysis and research experience.
  • World-class communication skills.
  • Bias to action – efficient delivery.
  • Hands-on mindset – ownership of deliverables.
  • Positive, decisive, and empathic management style.
