Role Overview:

We are looking for an ambitious credit analyst to cover a varied portfolio across the EMEA region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of EMEA Corporate clients and undertake objective detailed due diligence of borrowers / industry.
  • Managing end-to-end annual renewal of limits and borrower ratings as per the Banks credit processes and procedures collaborating with other stakeholders (Relationship Managers, Product teams and Credit Officers / Approvers).
  • Covenant checks and periodic monitoring reports.
  • Preparation of periodic sector reports and event-based stress tests of the portfolio as necessary.
  • Support Relationship Managers / Senior Credit Analysts in the department on ad-hoc requests related to new transactions or other portfolio reviews.
  • Audit management – Internal, External including regulatory inspections.

Candidate Profile:

  • Extensive experience in fundamental corporate analysis gained in either a bank (or their Global Capability Centre), asset manager or rating agency environment.
  • Minimum experience of 7-8 years after Post Graduation (CA / CFA / MBA Finance or their equivalents).

Functional/Technical Competencies:

  • Experience of covering EMEA Large Corporates.
  • A good understanding of loan documentation and key credit protections.
  • Familiarity with Bloomberg / CapIQ and similar systems.
