Data Engineer Role

Our organization is seeking an experienced data engineer to design and implement high-quality, secure, scalable data pipelines and systems that power reporting, analytics, and operational use cases.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering principles, including data modeling, data warehousing, ETL/ELT processes, and data governance. They will also possess excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to drive business outcomes.

Key Skills:
  • PowerBI: Experience with Power BI, including report development and data visualization.
  • Snowflake: Expertise in Snowflake, including data ingestion, processing, and storage.
  • Python: Proficiency in Python, including data manipulation and analysis.
  • Complex SQL Query Writing: Expertise in writing complex SQL queries, including joins, CTEs, window functions, and performance tuning.
  • Fivetran: Familiarity with Fivetran, including data integration and transformation.
  • DBT: Knowledge of DBT, including data modeling and data warehousing.
Responsibilities:
  1. Design and build scalable data pipelines using Snowflake, Fivetran, DBT, and Python.
  2. Write and optimize complex SQL queries for data transformations, analytics, and reporting.
  3. Develop and maintain complex Power BI reports and dashboards by integrating Snowflake and other data sources.
  4. Integrate and transform structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data for reporting and analytics.
  5. Implement end-to-end data flows with minimal supervision, ensuring performance, security, and reliability.
  6. Collaborate with product owners to validate requirements, define data logic, and ensure data completeness and correctness.
  7. Write clean, maintainable code and contribute to engineering best practices.
