A senior treasury specialist is required to lead the organization's cash, risk, and funding strategies. This role requires expertise in corporate treasury management, including liquidity, foreign exchange, and investments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective cash flow forecasting models to ensure optimal liquidity across geographies.
  • Support automation initiatives to streamline operations, such as host-to-host payments.

Foreign Exchange & Risk Management

  • Monitor FX exposures and execute hedging strategies according to established policy guidelines.
  • Calculate MTM valuations and prepare comprehensive exposure reports for stakeholders.

Investments & Fund Management

  • Evaluate investment options (fixed deposits, money markets, bonds, etc.) and recommend suitable choices based on risk-return analysis.
  • Ensure compliance with internal investment policies and monitor portfolio performance, P&L, and maintain accurate investment registers.

Banking & Compliance

  • Liaise with domestic and international banks for treasury operations and negotiate banking terms to minimize costs.
  • Verify compliance with RBI guidelines and internal treasury policies to mitigate risks.

Reporting & Analysis

  • Prepare and present MIS dashboards and treasury reports to leadership, highlighting key performance indicators and trends.
  • Collaborate with accounting and audit teams to ensure accuracy and compliance in reporting requirements.

Qualifications

  • MBA in Finance with preferred CFA or FRM certifications.
  • Minimum 5+ years of relevant corporate treasury experience, with a focus on strategic decision-making.
  • Prior banking experience is not considered due to the need for specialized knowledge in corporate treasury.
