Senior Software in Test: A Key Role in Delivering Quality

The position of Senior Software in Test is a crucial part of ensuring the highest level of quality in software development. As a Senior Software in Test, you will be responsible for delivering automated tests in core technologies, creating test documentation, defining test scope for the tested area and identifying risks, and providing support to other team members.

• Focus on delivering automated tests in core technologies such as Cypress.io and/or Playwright, ensuring seamless integration with our development processes.
• Create comprehensive test documentation that clearly outlines the testing process and any identified risks, facilitating collaboration and decision-making.
• Define test scope for the tested area and identify associated risks, enabling effective risk management and mitigation strategies.
• Develop and improve QA processes to ensure they are efficient, effective, and aligned with business objectives.
• Provide expert guidance and support to other team members by explaining complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner, promoting knowledge sharing and collaboration.
• Lead and contribute to technical discussions to ensure that the best solutions are implemented, driving innovation and excellence.

Requirements:

• Minimum 6 years of previous commercial experience with manual and automation testing, demonstrating expertise and depth of knowledge.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in test automation, showcasing ability to design, develop, and execute automated tests.
• Experience working with Cypress.io and/or Playwright, ensuring proficiency in using these technologies to deliver high-quality automated tests.
• Good knowledge of at least one JavaScript programming language, allowing for effective development and execution of automated tests.
• Excellent understanding of testing techniques, strong experience with manual testing, and some experience in non-functional testing, enabling identification and mitigation of potential issues.
• Knowledge of good practices in testing and ability to apply them in a practical way, ensuring delivery of high-quality results.
• Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical people, allowing for effective explanation of complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience in API testing using Postman, enabling testing of APIs and services.
• Ability to mentor and guide more junior testers, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development.
• Hands-on experience with Databases/Advanced Excel, a significant plus for data analysis and reporting.
• Experience working with large datasets or large customer base, a big plus for scalability and growth.
• Root cause analysis and test reporting, essential skills for identifying and addressing issues.
• Knowledge of CI/CD setup, SQL databases, Monitoring services, and Test design, programming languages like JavaScript, TypeScript, NodeJS, Test planning, and QA strategy, a significant advantage for delivering high-quality results.
• Knowledge of Python, Java, an added advantage for cross-functional collaboration and innovation.
