Research Services Analyst Job Opportunity

IDC is currently seeking a skilled Research Analyst to join the consumer device team.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on several of IDC's device programs, including mobile phones, wearables, and personal computing devices.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling and analyzing data in the Asia region and should have the ability to interpret complex data from both quantitative and qualitative sources as well as a technical competency to handle large data sets and improve processing efficiency.

The Research Analyst will play a crucial role in evaluating competitive positioning in the industry and updating databases with relevant data and findings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct primary and secondary research to support business decisions
  • Develop and maintain databases to store and analyze data
  • Provide insights and recommendations to stakeholders based on data analysis
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in finance/economics, statistics, or engineering
  • Strong understanding of economic principles and their application to market analysis
  • ~2+ years of work experience, preferably in the market research or technology industry
  • Familiarity with statistical tools and methodologies is a bonus
