About the Role

eCommerce Services (eCS) is seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst to join our team. As a Business Analyst, you will be responsible for converting data into actionable business insights. You will leverage a variety of data platforms and analytical tools to provide timely, meaningful, and consumable information. You will build deep contextual and domain knowledge, ensuring data quality and building scalable tools. You will communicate findings with the most effective and influential methods.

Key Responsibilities

  • Transform data into actionable business information and make it readily accessible to stakeholders worldwide.
  • Use data to support ideas, drive actionable outcomes, and provide unique ways to present data and information in an easy to consume format.
  • Draw inferences and conclusions, create dashboards and visualizations of processed data.
  • Have excellent business and communication skills to be able to work with product owners to understand key business questions to build reports that enable product owners to answer those questions quickly and accurately.
  • Be very comfortable juggling competing priorities and handling ambiguity.
  • Thrive in an agile and fast-paced environment on highly visible projects and initiatives.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of analytical field experience.
  • 3+ years of Excel (including VBA, pivot tables, array functions, power pivots, etc.) and data visualization tools such as Tableau experience.
  • 3+ years of business or financial analysis experience.
  • Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights.
  • Experience making business recommendations and influencing stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, engineering, analytics, mathematics, statistics or a related technical or quantitative field.
  • Experience in working with databases, ETL and SQL in a business environment.
  • Demonstrated use of analytical packages and query languages such as SAS, R, Python and SQL.
  • Experience in developing requirements and formulating business metrics for reporting, familiarity with data visualization tools, e.g. Tableau, Power BI, Quick Sight.
  • Experience communicating analytical outcomes through written communication to both business and technical teams.
