Senior Asset Manager

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Associate to join our team in managing daily workflows for existing assets.

The ideal candidate will have a sound experience in asset management or related fields (6-8 years) and strong accounting knowledge with advanced MS Excel skills.

Key responsibilities include monitoring cash flows, tracking asset performance, managing risk, overseeing third-party partners, and executing business plans.

Our team is responsible for portfolio onboarding & summarizing reporting, preparing analytics, communicating status, processing and asset-level activity to various groups, including asset management & investment teams throughout the life of an investment.

Collaboration is key as we work with asset management teams & external business partners to facilitate and review performance, suggesting value enhancements where applicable.

Operational efficiencies and information flow are executed and enhanced with both internal and external teams.

Funding and distribution activities are managed in collaboration with internal/external teams.

Real Estate Technology Project Management

We work closely with clients' technology teams and third-party consultants on high-priority real estate technology implementation initiatives.

Detailed reviews of chart of account mappings to real estate assets' trial balance accounts are performed during technology implementation and new deal onboarding.

Financial statement reconciliations are reviewed and discrepancies are resolved to ensure generated financial statements reflect expected deal activity and performance.

Trial balance level accounts are understood to determine the need for new accounts.

Third-party workflows are managed, and dynamic portfolio management tools are utilized to analyze standardized financial statements, key performance metrics, and partner reporting.

Budget-to-actual outputs from real estate portfolio management tools are reviewed, and partner reporting requirements are monitored.

The ideal candidate should possess excellent written and verbal communication skills with meticulous attention to detail and ability to multi-task. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are also essential.

Able to cultivate trust and build strong partnerships with different counterparts.

Training and mentoring junior team members.

Advantageous Skills:

  • Knowledge of third-party databases such as Yardi, Argus, CoStar, Real Page, Bloomberg, Alteryx, Tableau etc.
  • Hands-on experience with VBA macros.

Academic Requirements:

CPA / CFA / MBA or equivalent qualification in accounting & finance from a reputed institution.
