Senior Electrical Systems Designer

High-voltage electrical systems require meticulous planning and precise execution. As a skilled Sr. Electrical Engineer, you will oversee the design and development of complex electrical systems for high-voltage (HV), medium-voltage (MV), and low-voltage (LV) projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop electrical system layouts, single-line diagrams, and technical specifications for HV, MV, and LV systems.
  • Analyze bids and tender proposals from various contractors to ensure the best possible outcome.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, such as NFPA, UL, and IEC, to ensure compliance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to guarantee project success and adhere to timelines.

Requirements:

  • Possess a strong background in electrical engineering, preferably in the chemical or oil and gas sector.
  • Demonstrate an excellent understanding of HV, MV, and LV system design principles.
  • Be proficient in 3D modeling software and 2D layout tools.
  • Showcase ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work independently.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with HT and LT system design would be highly valued.
  • Familiarity with DiaLux and other lighting design software is beneficial.
  • Knowledge of hazardous area requirements and heat tracing system design is desirable.
