Job Title: HVAC Design Engineer
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Design Engineer with experience in designing heating, cooling, ventilation, and air distribution systems.
The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of MEP coordination, energy efficiency, and HVAC system optimization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design HVAC Systems: Design heating, cooling, ventilation, and air distribution systems for various projects.
- Perform Load Calculations: Conduct heat load calculations, cooling load calculations, and airflow analysis using software like HAP, Trace 700, or Carrier E-20.
- Select and Size Equipment: Select and size HVAC equipment based on project requirements.
- Design Ductwork and Piping Layouts: Design ductwork, piping layouts, and control systems using AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and Navisworks.
- Evaluate Designs: Ensure designs comply with ASHRAE, SMACNA, NFPA, and local building codes.
- Optimize HVAC Systems: Perform energy efficiency analysis and optimize HVAC systems for cost and sustainability.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in HVAC design and engineering.
- Proficiency in HVAC design software (HAP, Trace 700, Revit MEP, AutoCAD, Carrier E-20).
- Strong knowledge of duct and pipe sizing, psychrometrics, and refrigeration cycles.
- Familiarity with ASHRAE, SMACNA, NFPA, and other HVAC standards.
- Experience in energy modeling and sustainable HVAC system design.
- Certification in HVAC design (ASHRAE, LEED AP, or similar).
- Experience working on international projects.
