Job Role Overview

This role is responsible for leading finance and administrative operations. The Manager oversees day-to-day financial management, statutory compliance, procurement, insurance administration, and operational support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Planning and Reporting
    • Establish accounting systems and processes for timely bookkeeping, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
    • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with Indian regulations.
    • Monitor expenses, budgets, and cash flow to support sustainable business operations.
    • Liaise with the finance team to support consolidated reporting, audits, and cross-border financial coordination.
  • Payroll Management and Compliance
    • Oversee employee payroll processing and ensure compliance with all applicable labour, tax, and provident fund laws.
    • Manage TDS, GST (if applicable), and other statutory filings with relevant authorities.
    • Maintain accurate documentation for audits and ensure all statutory registers are up to date.
  • Insurance and Risk Mitigation
    • Lead the procurement, review, and renewal of essential business insurance policies.
    • Ensure coverage levels are appropriate to the company's operational risk profile.
    • Monitor insurance compliance obligations under agreements and contracts.
    • Maintain insurance documentation and ensure prompt response to incidents or claims.
  • Financial Instruments and Banking Systems
    • Establish and manage banking relationships, ensuring optimal account structures for operational efficiency.
    • Ensure compatibility with accounting platforms.
    • Support the setup of digital payment systems and vendor management tools.
  • Procurement and Office Operations
    • Manage procurement of IT equipment, software licences, and office supplies.
    • Coordinate with vendors to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
    • Ensure value-for-money and cost efficiency across administrative expenditures.
  • Administrative Leadership and Record-Keeping
    • Develop and maintain internal administrative policies and workflows.
    • Oversee documentation of employee records, contracts, agreements, and regulatory filings.
    • Support onboarding and coordination with external consultants.
