Logistics Specialist (Manager)

About the Role:

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage and oversee end-to-end import, export, and logistics processes for sensitive semiconductor equipment, ODC cargo, utilities, gas, chemicals, and finished goods products.
  2. Evaluate and implement cost-saving and process improvement initiatives to ensure seamless operations and compliance with regulations.
  3. Coordinate activities between suppliers, customers, logistics partners, licensing authorities, and regulatory bodies.
  4. Analyze logistics workflows and KPIs to identify areas for improvement.
  5. Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate product delivery.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or an equivalent field is advantageous.
  • Minimum of 12-14 years of proven experience in import/export operations, preferably within manufacturing sectors.
  • Experience specifically in the Semiconductor Industry is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of International Logistic, 3PL Management, Inbound/Outbound logistics, multi-modal transportation, freight forwarding, and negotiation.

Desirable Skills:

  • Regulatory knowledge of ODC Cargo, gas and chemical logistics, including Indian import and export regulations.
  • Competence in using MS Office Suite (Word, Excel), ERP systems (e.g., SAP), and potentially specific logistics/trade compliance software.
