Job Summary

  • A seasoned Prior Authorization Specialist is sought to secure timely access to medical treatments and services for patients.

Key Responsibilities

Obtain prior authorizations and referrals from insurance companies before procedures or surgeries by utilizing online platforms or telephone interactions.

Monitor and update current orders and tasks to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.

Provide insurance companies with clinical information necessary to secure prior-authorizations or referrals.

Verify patient insurance eligibility and obtain necessary documentation to facilitate prior-authorization processes.

Preferred Candidate Profile

Essential Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of experience in Prior Authorization, preferably in a voice process environment.
  • Strong understanding of medical terminology and progress notes.

Our ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, the ability to work efficiently under pressure, and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
