We are seeking an Investment Professional to support our investment activities for funds under management. This role will be based out of Chennai.

The successful candidate will contribute to developing a pipeline of potential investments through industry and market research, perform due diligence on potential investment opportunities, and build detailed financial models.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop a robust pipeline of investments by conducting thorough industry research and analysis.
  • Evaluate and assess the viability of investment opportunities in line with our fund's objectives.
  • Create comprehensive financial models to analyze investment scenarios and make informed recommendations.
  • Support deal structuring and negotiations while ensuring compliance with all necessary regulations.
  • Maintain relations with investee companies and monitor portfolio performance.
Requirements:
  • A strong educational background in a relevant field, such as engineering or finance, accompanied by an MBA from a top Business School or Chartered Accountant certification.
  • Minimum 3-8 years' experience in financial modeling and investment analysis, preferably in alternative investments.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently under pressure.
  • Presentation skills to communicate ideas clearly and confidently, articulating issues and recommending solutions.
  • Basic communication skills in Tamil are desirable.
