Job Title: Software Development Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer II to deploy and maintain infrastructure solutions hosted in the cloud or on-premise environments. This includes adding additional automation to our build deployment processes and monitoring system, application, and network performance/availability.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the end-to-end Software Development Lifecycle and experience with CI/CD processes and tools such as Gitlab, Jenkins, and Maven. Experience in container orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes is also required. Additionally, knowledge of infrastructure-as-code frameworks such as Terraform and Puppet is necessary.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Deploy and maintain infrastructure solutions
  • Add additional automation to build deployment processes
  • Monitor system, application, and network performance/availability
  • Implement DevSecOps practices
  • Prepare scalable network deployment architecture
  • Continuous improvement of process technologies

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 3+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer
  • Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, SSL/TLS, VPN, routing tables)
  • Basic understanding of Database concepts
  • Knowledge of modern engineering best practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with a different queuing system like SQL, PLSQL
  • AWS DevOps experience is a plus
  • Passion for learning and mastering information technology
  • Knowledge of Agile programming
  • Financial industry knowledge
  • Web application development using a modern web framework
