About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Global Healthcare Policy Strategist to join our team at Lifelancer, a talent-hiring platform in Life Sciences, Pharma and IT.

Job Summary

This is an exceptional opportunity for a highly experienced professional to drive policy initiatives and shape our company's strategy in India and South Asia. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing government affairs strategies, building relationships with key stakeholders, and ensuring alignment with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Government Affairs Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with government officials, healthcare organizations, and other key stakeholders to advance our company's interests.
  • Policy Priorities: Identify and prioritize key policy issues that impact our business, develop strategies to address these issues, and ensure effective implementation.
  • Advocacy and Lobbying: Represent our company in key associations and advocacy groups, engage with policymakers, and influence policy decisions that benefit our organization.
  • Policy Analysis and Advice: Provide expert analysis and advice on policy trends, developments, and their potential impact on our business.
  • Strategic Partnerships: Build and maintain strategic partnerships with government agencies, healthcare organizations, and other stakeholders to advance our company's goals.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 20 years of experience in public policy, with a strong focus on healthcare policy.
  • Demonstrated expertise in government affairs, policy development, and advocacy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex policy issues and develop effective solutions.
  • A proven track record of influencing policy decisions and driving business outcomes through effective advocacy.
Compensation

The estimated salary for this role is ₹65-80 lakhs per annum, depending on experience.
