Global Health Economics and Outcomes Research Strategist

We are seeking a highly skilled Global Health Economics and Outcomes Research Strategist to lead our efforts in driving deliverables for multiple Corporate Vice President (CVP) areas within Commercial, Global Business Services (GBS), including Insulin, GLP-1 and Obesity Marketing, Market Access, Commercial Planning and Commercial Operations.
About the Role
As a Global Health Economics and Outcomes Research Strategist, you will be responsible for developing and executing health economics and outcomes research strategies to support the growth of our Diabetes pipeline products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including R&D, market access, commercial planning, medical affairs, and regions, to facilitate the design of retrospective and prospective studies. Your expertise in study design, analytical plans, data collection plans, analysis, and interpretation of research findings will be crucial in driving business decisions.
You will also contribute to the development of health economic models, economic evaluations, cost-effectiveness studies, and health-related quality-of-life studies. Your ability to communicate complex technical information effectively to both internal and external stakeholders is essential in this role.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and execute health economics and outcomes research strategies to support business growth
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and conduct retrospective and prospective studies
• Contribute to the development of health economic models, economic evaluations, and cost-effectiveness studies
• Communicate complex technical information to internal and external stakeholders
Requirements
To be successful as a Global Health Economics and Outcomes Research Strategist, you will require a University master's degree in an appropriate field, such as health economics or outcomes research, epidemiology, or statistics/biostatistics. A minimum of 10 years of experience in a related field, ideally within the pharmaceutical industry or consultancy, is also required. A strong scientific publication track record in peer-reviewed manuscripts is desirable.
Your leadership skills, strategic thinking, and drive for performance will be essential in this role. Effective communication and project management skills are also critical in ensuring successful collaboration with cross-functional teams.
