Job Responsibilities
As a Senior Software Development Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing applications or libraries for point-of-sale devices based on customer requirements. You will work with product architects to confirm and substantiate functional and technical designs, provide technical guidance to junior team members, and assume ownership of end-to-end delivery of projects/products.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- 2-8 years of experience in the IT industry
- Proficiency in Object-Oriented Design Principles
- Proficiency in C/C++
- Proficiency in scripting languages
- Good communication skills and ability to work in cross-cultural environments
- Ability to learn new tools and technologies independently
- Good system-level debugging and performance optimization skills
- Hands-on experience with gdb tool and core dump analysis
- Hands-on experience working on Linux programming environments
- Experience with Linux IPCs, socket programming, data structures, algorithms, multi-threaded programming, and code review
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Highly motivated and capable of multitasking
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Strong work ethics and positive team attitude
- Knowledge of SDLC
Desirable Skills
- Experience in payments/POS solutions
- Working knowledge of Windows multi-threading
- Working knowledge of Python, HTML
- Working knowledge of SQL, XML, JSON
- CI/CD environment exposure
- Experience in Agile SDLC cycles
Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year
