Mobile Application Development for Livestock Management

We are developing a novel virtual fencing solution for efficient cattle management. This innovative system uses Electrical Muscle Stimulation (EMS) instead of traditional electric shocks to manage herds.

Our system enables painless cattle herding and monitoring through muscle cues, providing control without additional fencing. It operates easily, without expensive infrastructure, and transmits health and location data directly to a cloud backend and mobile app.

This technology is a key building block to enabling regenerative grazing, a practice that can decrease cattle's carbon footprint by up to 35%.

As a Mobile Engineer, you will collaborate with our team to develop a mobile application to help manage and monitor herds efficiently. You will ideate, design, implement, and maintain the product's mobile app, designing the UX and developing the application's front-end interfaces.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Partnering with our farming partners to understand their work so you can build an app that meets their requirements.
  • Maintaining high engineering and coding standards.

Our technology stack includes React Native with TypeScript, React Query, Jest, NativeWind, Sentry, NX Monorepo, Express (Koa), AWS, EKS, RDS (Postgres).
