Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented quality assurance specialist to enhance software quality and deliver exceptional results.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly analytical individual to join our team in ensuring seamless software delivery.

  • Develop, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts for software applications.
  • Perform manual and automated testing to guarantee software quality.
  • Conduct extensive database testing, including writing and executing SQL queries to validate data integrity, consistency, and accuracy.
  • Identify, document, and track bugs, defects, and performance issues using industry-standard tools.
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and business analysts to understand requirements and define test scenarios.
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational software development and testing standards.
  • Analyze test results and provide clear, detailed reports on software performance and issues.
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in software testing (Freshers with strong knowledge are welcome to apply).
  • Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC (Software Development & Testing Life Cycle).
  • Hands-on experience in manual testing, automation testing using Selenium, Cypress, or Appium, and database testing using SQL.
  • Proficiency with bug tracking tools such as Jira, Bugzilla, or Trello.
  • Good knowledge of Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
