MoEngage is seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to join their team. As a Senior QA Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of products by developing and executing comprehensive test strategies.

The successful candidate will be responsible for test planning to execution, collaborating with cross-functional teams, writing and maintaining automation test suites, driving quality, solving complex problems, and providing coaching and mentorship to junior team members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute comprehensive test strategies to ensure high-quality software delivery.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage software project quality from inception to delivery.
  • Write and maintain automation test suites, delivering end-to-end testing solutions for complex projects.
  • Drive quality by collaborating with other departments to resolve customer issues.
  • Solve complex problems with minimal guidance, leading projects and driving initiatives to improve QA efficiency.
Requirements
  • 5-6 years of experience.
  • Strong Fundamentals of Software Testing.
  • API Testing and automation experience with tools like Postman/Newman, RestAssured or any other tool.
  • Experience in creating well-defined Test Strategies for various types of Functional, Exploratory, and Regression testing initiatives.
  • Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
  • Experience in UI automation using any tools such as Selenium or Playwright.
  • Proficiency in understanding issues in complex web application issues through log analysis.
  • Working knowledge with bug tracking and collaboration tools such as JIRA, Confluence.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize work to meet deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for articulating technical concepts to stakeholders.
  • Self-starter who can work independently with minimal oversight, possessing a strong work ethic and willingness to take initiative.
Desirable Skills
  • Proficiency in developing and executing test plans and automation scripts using Python and test frameworks such as Pytest.
  • Experience with Jenkins or other CI tools.
  • Understanding of Cloud Computing Platforms such as AWS.
  • Knowledge of Linux/Unix operating system.
  • Knowledge of NoSQL databases (Mongo) / SQL.
  • Contribution to Open-source projects.
