Cloud Engineering Role

We are seeking a seasoned cloud engineer to lead our team of talented professionals in developing platform automation and tools that support hybrid cloud infrastructure and services.

The ideal candidate will combine their knowledge of software engineering, AI, and ML to help create a robust experience for users while enhancing the reliability, scalability, and efficiency of our cloud management platforms.

This role involves spearheading new initiatives, capabilities, and features that positively impact both infrastructures and application/product development teams across the organization.

You will partner with clients, product managers, and other engineers to drive solutions from conception through delivery and operation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver software required for building & improving the functionality, reliability, availability, and manageability of applications and cloud platforms using a DevOps model.
  • Design, implement, and optimize AI and ML solutions to elevate platform efficiency, scalability, and user experience.
  • Collaborate with other developers and related core services team members to define roadmaps, write clear user stories with well-defined acceptance criteria, design, and build solutions.
  • Develop intelligent applications and tools using large language models (LLMs) and machine learning to optimize business processes and enhance user experiences.
  • Identify, explore, and provide thought leadership for integration scenarios and best practices where AI and ML can be leveraged to drive innovation and operational efficiency.
  • Design and develop microservices and APIs in a cloud-native model in conjunction with other team members.
  • Ensure the quality, performance, robustness, security, and scalability of the services you implement.
  • Automate the development, testing, and deployment processes through CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Git, Jenkins, SonarQube, Artifactory, and Kubernetes.
  • Champion and drive the adoption of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices and mindset.
  • Provide operational support, troubleshooting, bug fixes, and enhancements for live production software to ensure functionality and user satisfaction.
