Job Title: Data Governance Architect

Employed by a leading content and data technology firm, you will play a pivotal role in defining and implementing enterprise-wide data governance strategies. With strong expertise in data architecture techniques and methodologies, you will lead data quality, consistency, and accessibility across various Enterprise platforms and business units.


As a skilled professional with a solid background in information systems or a related technical field, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-wide data governance architecture frameworks and metadata models. Your ability to evaluate and recommend data governance framework and tools will be crucial in meeting the company's business needs.


You will have the opportunity to work on diverse projects, including data cataloging, data quality, metadata management, data lineage, data security, and master data management. With experience in design and implementation of data governance architectures using industry-leading tools such as Informatica EDC/AXON, Collibra, Alation, MHUB, and other prominent data governance tool platforms, you will drive data compliance with relevant regulations like GDPR, HIPAA, CCPA, and SOX.


Key qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in information systems or a related technical field.
  • Strong knowledge of data governance, architecture techniques, and methodologies.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in data governance architecture and implementation.
  • Hands-on experience in design and implementation of architectural patterns for data quality, metadata management, data lineage, data security, and master data management.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python/Java, and proficiency in working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Familiarity with data modeling (conceptual, logical, physical) and big data technologies (Hadoop/Spark, etc.).
