Category Manager Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Category Manager to lead our team of officers and promoters. This is a challenging role that requires excellent leadership and communication skills.

Job Description
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing new vendors, managing existing vendor relationships, and ensuring timely payments.
  • They will also be responsible for analyzing consumption patterns across various geographies, identifying profitable growth opportunities, and developing product strategies.
  • In addition, they will need to manage inventory levels, conduct market visits, and analyze sales data to inform business decisions.
  • Other key responsibilities include preparing reports, presenting findings to stakeholders, and leading cross-functional teams.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Qualifications:
  • A graduate or postgraduate degree in a relevant field, with a minimum of 10 years of experience in FMCG sales or general merchandise product base industry.
  • Skills:
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, planning, delegation, coordination, and follow-up skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office tools.
  • Good interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
