Job Title: Product Innovation Manager

Location: Mumbai, India

  • Product Development Strategy
    • Develop and execute comprehensive product development strategies to drive business growth.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.
    • Lead the development of new products and features that meet customer needs and exceed expectations.
  • Project Management
    • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and cost-effective execution.
    • Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals, timelines, and budgets.
    • Monitor progress, identify and mitigate risks, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Technical Expertise
    • Hands-on knowledge of manufacturing processes for rubber, plastics, and sheet metal.
    • Work closely with R&D, quality, and production teams to ensure seamless product industrialisation.
  • Leadership & Coordination
    • Lead and mentor a team of product developers to achieve business objectives.
    • Coordinate with design, quality, procurement, and production departments to ensure efficient project execution.
    • Resolves technical and operational challenges during project execution.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong leadership and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Proficiency in APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plans, SPC, and other automotive quality tools.
  • In-depth understanding of manufacturing processes for rubber, plastics, and sheet metal.
  • Strong commercial acumen and costing knowledge.
  • Effective presentation and negotiation skills.

Qualification: Bachelor's / Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
