Shopify Technical Lead

Unlock your career potential in a dynamic environment that fosters creativity and innovation. As a key member of our eCommerce team, you will focus on growing the practice with an emphasis on the Shopify ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and grow the team by supporting hiring of talented technical resources and partnering with practice leadership on business objectives
  • Engage with the team to define solutions using Shopify's technology ecosystem and other relevant tools and integrations
  • Provide accurate estimates, timelines, and budgets for new and existing implementations
  • Lead project teams to understand and find creative solutions to clients' requirements
  • Design and build cutting-edge websites and web-based applications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent work experience)
  • 5+ years of professional experience in web application design and development
  • Experience working in an Architect or project lead role on multiple Shopify Plus implementations
  • Experience and interest in React, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, other modern JavaScript frameworks and libraries

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Developed complex enterprise Shopify solutions, including apps, extensions
  • Experience working on modern eCommerce platforms other than Shopify Plus
  • Experience with web-based extensions and scripting techniques - JavaScript experience preferred

Work Environment:

Hybrid work mode, Bengaluru / Gurugram location
