Medical Technology Consultant

We are seeking a skilled Medical Technology Consultant to join our team. As a consultant, you will play a crucial role in providing strategic guidance and data-driven insights to organizations in the medical technology industry.

Your primary responsibility will be to analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and business data to help decision-makers make informed choices that can positively impact their organization's performance and bottom line.

Responsibilities:
  • Define problem statements and initial hypotheses, designing optimal research approaches with a mix of research techniques (e.g., primary/secondary/basic modeling)
  • Structure and present data and results using relevant frameworks
  • Arrive at key messages/highlights addressing key objectives as summaries of results
  • Presentation of research results to clients and handling client queries
  • Active participation and contribution in team discussions on project-specific areas
  • Market assessment and trend analysis across sub-segments, therapy areas to assess attractiveness of markets, players, pipeline assets, and product portfolios, technologies, etc.
  • Competitor benchmarking and tracking includes media monitoring, product profiling, medical/scientific and marketing aspects, SWOT analysis, clinical pipeline analysis, etc.
Requirements:
  • Hands-on experience in MedTech strategy-related projects
  • Experience in consulting and strategy-oriented projects
  • Working experience across Lifesciences value chain projects specifically market assessment projects covering market attractiveness, strategic imperatives, competitor strategies, insights gathering through secondary/primary research, analysis, and reporting
  • Mindset to identify and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to practice attentive and active listening
  • Respect for time and ability to ensure that tasks within areas of responsibility are completed in a timely manner
  • Ability to identify proactive ways to contribute to the firm's goals & mission
  • Command over MS Office and basic MS Excel
  • M.Pharm/B.Pharm/B.Tech (Biotech)/B.E(Biotech)/M.Tech (Biotech)/MBA
  • 4+ years of relevant experience
