Senior Electrical Systems Designer

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering group, you will be responsible for designing and developing electrical systems for power transformers.
- Design and Development: You will design and develop electrical systems for power transformers, ensuring that they meet industry standards and specifications.
- Quotation Designs: You will create quotation designs for sales departments, which will then be reviewed by an Engineering Manager/Supervisor before being presented to customers.
- Transformer Reliability: You will ensure the reliability of transformers through various dielectric tests, thermal behavior, and short circuit behavior analysis using appropriate tools.
- Material Ordering and Packaging: You will take charge of ordering and packaging electrical advance materials.
- Design Drawings and CAD: You will use CAD systems or other computer programs to produce design drawings.
- Industry Standards: You will apply industry standards governing the design and manufacture of various types of power transformers.
- Accurate Design Drawings: You will produce accurate detailed design drawings of oil type power designs.
- Bills of Material (BOM): You will generate BOMs for all material of core and coil assembly.
- Design Parameters: You will exercise judgment in selecting design parameters.
- Team Leadership: You will oversee the work of and train junior electrical engineers and technicians.
- Design Review: You will review and check designs produced by other electrical designers for conformance to specifications.
- Project Scheduling: You will complete design activities in accordance with schedule requirements as assigned by the supervisor.
- Work Performance and Attendance: You will satisfy all work performance and attendance requirements.
- Other Duties: You will perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Education and Experience: We require a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering and relevant experience in power transformer or transformer electrical design or other power-related products is preferred.
