About the Role - Senior IT Systems Engineer

This position involves deploying, supporting and maintaining Synamedia applications and products within cloud environments and at customer sites.

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in enhancing integration of Artifactory and related services into the software development lifecycle, collaborating with architects, developers and DevOps teams to achieve this goal.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver complex maintenance, upgrades and support initiatives across multiple services.
  • Maintaining and supporting Artifactory and other enterprise-grade IT services, ensuring high availability across geographically distributed environments.
  • Acting as liaison with third-party vendors to escalate and resolve advanced technical issues.
  • Providing technical support to users of IT services, ensuring timely issue resolution, adherence to SLAs and proactive vulnerability management.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience installing, configuring, upgrading and maintaining JFrog Artifactory, including user provisioning.
  • Skilled in integrating Artifactory with build tools and pipelines, such as Maven, Jenkins, Electric Flow and Docker, ensuring seamless artifact management within CI/CD workflows.
  • Strong experience in Linux system administration, including proficiency with Bash scripting for automation and system management tasks.
