About the Role:

The Workplace Standard Auditor and Trainer will play a pivotal role in supporting the growth of our activities in India. This position requires strong social and environmental auditing expertise to establish gap assessments of mica processors and mines versus our Global Workplace Standard (GWS) and mining standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct gap assessments to identify areas for improvement and develop corrective action plans
  • Support processors and mine owners in implementing these plans and monitor their progress
  • Coordinate collective third-party audit protocols and liaise with external auditing companies
  • Develop training content and conduct sessions on responsible workplace standards
  • Perform quality checks on audit reports and analyze data to inform presentations
  • Support district-level advocacy efforts in Rajasthan, building relationships with local governmental officers and updating them on our progress

Requirements:

  • A Master's degree in International Development, Business, Engineering, or a related field
  • Demonstrated experience in social auditing, sustainability standards, and mining standards
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to work independently
  • Fluency in English and Hindi
  • High level of integrity and ethical standards
  • 5-10 years of experience in related missions
