German Language Trainer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and motivated German Language Trainer to deliver high-impact language instruction for individuals preparing to live and work in Germany.

Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will possess a certification at least B2/C1 level in German from recognized bodies or a Bachelor's or Master's degree in German, Linguistics, Education, or related field. A minimum of 1–2 years of German teaching experience is required along with excellent interpersonal skills, cultural awareness, patience, adaptability, and tech proficiency for using teaching platforms and in creating digital content.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct German language training across proficiency levels (A1–B2), both in-person and online, developing lesson plans and learning materials tailored to batch type and student needs (grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, culture, exam prep).
  • Administer regular assessments (quizzes, mock tests) and provide personalized feedback.
  • Prepare students for certifications such as Goethe-Zertifikat, ÖSD, TELC, etc.
  • Use digital teaching tools for online delivery.
  • Adapt teaching methods between online and offline formats and support multiple student batches daily.
  • Maintain accurate attendance and progress tracking.
  • Collaborate with the training team for curriculum improvements and batch scheduling.
  • Occasionally handle exam registration guidance or cultural immersion sessions.

Qualifications:

  • Certification at least B2/C1 level in German from recognized bodies or Bachelor's or Master's degree in German, Linguistics, Education, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 1–2 years of German teaching experience (classroom/online).
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, cultural awareness, patience, adaptability.
  • Tech proficiency for using teaching platforms and in creating digital content.

Shift Requirements:

  • Rotating shift schedules including morning, evening, and Saturday slots.
