Role Summary: Cash Flow Manager

A cash flow manager oversees the accounts receivable process within an organization. Their primary goal is to ensure timely collection of outstanding debts from customers or clients.

Key Responsibilities & Expectations

  • Develop and implement efficient strategies for debt collection.
  • Monitor accounts to identify overdue payments and determine suitable actions.
  • Communicate with customers to negotiate payment plans and resolve issues.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to resolve billing and payment inquiries.
  • Maintain accurate records of collection activities, including customer interactions and payment arrangements.
  • Analyze delinquent accounts and prepare reports on collection status.
  • Implement credit policies to minimize late payments or non-payment.
  • Collaborate with legal counsel or external agencies as needed.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Must be a certified accountant.
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
  • Proven experience in accounts receivable management.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Analytical mindset with ability to assess data and trends.
  • Familiarity with collection software and tools.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of relevant laws governing debt collection practices.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
