Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Forensics Investigator to conduct in-depth analyses of computer systems and networks. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in digital forensics and incident response, as well as hands-on expertise with tools like Velociraptor.

  • A strong background in Windows internals, registry analysis, and common attacker tactics is required.
  • The successful candidate will also possess excellent scripting skills (Python, PowerShell, Bash) for automating evidence extraction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough digital forensic investigations across various environments, including Windows, Linux, and macOS.
  • Analyze complex data sets to identify patterns and anomalies, utilizing industry-standard tools and techniques.

Requirements:

  • Hands-on experience with Velociraptor and at least two additional digital forensics tools.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows internals, registry analysis, and common attacker tactics.
  • Excellent scripting skills (Python, PowerShell, Bash) for automating evidence extraction.

Work Environment:

This is a contract remote role, allowing for independent work in a self-directed setting. As a Digital Forensics Investigator, you will be responsible for documenting findings with clear timelines and technical evidence suitable for incident response and legal reporting.
