
Chief Regulatory Affairs Specialist

We are seeking a Compliance Officer to ensure all regulatory submissions are made on time and in the correct format.
- This includes new business submissions, schedules submissions, SP submissions, complaints submissions, financial statements submissions, and compliance certificates as applicable.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the submission process and be able to coordinate with respective business units and teams to ensure that all necessary documents are submitted to regulators within stipulated timelines.
- The role involves tracking, aligning, and ensuring that regulatory registers are maintained in an appropriate format and submitted to regulators.
- As part of our Compliance Officer's duties, they will be responsible for communicating with regulators as per regulations. This includes notifying them of branch openings and closures, directorship changes, and any other relevant information.
The following KPIs will be used to measure the performance of the Compliance Officer:
- Timely submission of regulatory documents.
- Maintenance of accurate and up-to-date regulatory records.
- Effective communication with regulators.

Ongoing SupportThe team provides ongoing support to help the Compliance Officer perform their job effectively and efficiently.
This includes providing guidance on regulatory requirements and procedures, as well as offering technical assistance when needed.
The team works collaboratively to achieve shared goals and objectives, and the Compliance Officer will be an integral part of this team.
Regulatory ComplianceThe Compliance Officer will be responsible for ensuring that all regulatory requirements are met, including:
- IRDAI data maintenance.
- Registers.
- Timely submissions.
- Grievances.
They will work closely with various teams, including the grievance team, insurers, and branch teams, to ensure that all necessary information is accurately recorded and submitted.
Licenses and CertificationsThe Compliance Officer will be responsible for ensuring that all applicable licenses are availed, procured, and renewed within stipulated timelines.
This involves coordinating with relevant stakeholders, including insurers, to ensure that all necessary documentation is submitted on time.
The Compliance Officer will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records of licenses and certifications.
Audit and ComplianceThe Compliance Officer will be responsible for coordinating with the functional audit team to track the audit resolution for branches.
This involves working closely with various stakeholders, including insurers, to ensure that all necessary documentation is accurately recorded and submitted.
Communication and TeamworkThe Compliance Officer will work closely with various teams, including the compliance team, to ensure that all necessary information is accurately recorded and submitted.
They will also be responsible for communicating with regulators as per regulations, including notifying them of branch openings and closures, directorship changes, and any other relevant information.
