The Role We're seeking an experienced Customer Marketing Operations Manager to bridge marketing strategy and event execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with Event Production teams to ensure end-to-end event production from strategy development through post-event analysis for multiple concurrent client campaigns
  • Translate client objectives into targeted event experiences using proprietary audience intelligence
  • Coordinate with creative teams to ensure event design aligns with broader campaign goals

Campaign Management

  • Serve as primary operational point of contact for assigned client accounts
  • Lead client calls, present campaign strategies, and provide regular performance updates
  • Collaborate with account management to develop integrated campaigns where events drive lead generation and brand engagement
  • Manage campaign timelines, deliverables across multiple clients simultaneously

Team Leadership

  • Oversee a team of 20-30 full-time employees including Regional Customer Success Managers Audience Acquisition Team Leads Campaign Specialists Data Research Associates

Performance Analysis

  • Track and analyze campaign metrics connecting event activities to marketing outcomes and ROI
  • Use audience data and campaign insights to continuously optimize event experiences and operational processes
  • Provide detailed post-event analysis and recommendations for future campaigns

Requirements

Experience

  • 12-15 years of progressive experience in marketing operations event marketing or experiential marketing with demonstrated leadership responsibility
  • Proven track record managing events at marketing agencies or in-house marketing teams
  • Experience with both micro-events and large-scale productions across various industries
  • Background in campaign management with understanding of marketing attribution and ROI measurement

Skills

  • Strong project management capabilities with experience using tools like Asana Monday.com or similar platforms
  • Vendor management experience including contract negotiation and relationship building
  • Proficiency with marketing technology stack including CRM systems event platforms and analytics tools
  • Understanding of integrated marketing campaigns and cross-channel optimization

Competencies

  • Client-facing communication skills with ability to present strategies and manage expectations
  • Data-driven mindset with experience using audience insights to inform event design
  • Crisis management abilities with proven experience handling real-time event challenges
  • Team coordination skills for managing freelancers temporary staff and external partners

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience at experiential marketing agencies or event marketing firms
  • Background in B2B marketing with understanding of lead generation and nurturing processes
  • Project management certification PMP or equivalent
  • Experience with marketing automation platforms and lead management systems
