Job Opportunity: Senior Fraud Risk Modeler (Credit Card)

Job Description

A senior fraud risk modeler is required to design and develop models for detecting and preventing financial fraud. The candidate will analyze emerging trends, assess fraud risk, and contribute to fraud prevention strategies.

This involves working closely with cross-functional teams to enhance fraud detection capabilities and reduce losses.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create, implement, and validate fraud detection and prevention models using advanced statistical and machine learning techniques.
  • Analyze large-scale transactional and behavioral data to identify fraud patterns and provide actionable insights.
  • Evaluate existing fraud controls and monitor trends to quantify exposure to evolving threats.
  • Present analytical findings and model performance to stakeholders.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of model development processes and risk assumptions.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Data Science, or a related field.
  • 6-7 years of experience in developing, implementing, and maintaining fraud risk models across products and channels in a banking environment.
  • Proven experience in fraud analytics and modeling, including transaction monitoring, real-time detection, and rules-based or machine learning-driven approaches.
