Accounts Executive Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounts Executive to join our team in Pune, India. This role is perfect for individuals with a strong accounting background and a passion for finance.

The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work accurately under pressure. Proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel is a plus.

About the Role:

This Accounts Executive position involves managing the month-end close process, financial reporting, and reconciliation. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate records, analyzing account balances, and resolving discrepancies.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage the month-end close process to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Perform bank and credit card reconciliations, reconcile payment gateway receipts, and audit vendor invoices.
  • Process and validate vendor invoices for timely payments, maintain vendor payment schedules, and resolve any issues.
  • Issue and manage customer sales invoices, monitor receivables, and maintain aging reports.
  • Ensure adherence to financial regulations and company policies, maintain accurate financial records, and assist in internal and external audits.
  • Support daily financial operations, assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis, and identify process improvements.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need a Bachelor's/Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A CPA qualification or at least two cleared CPA subjects is required. Excellent communication and teamwork skills are essential.
