Financial Analyst Associate

This role presents a unique opportunity to collaborate with the Sector Coverage Team in Corporate Finance, contributing significantly to deal preparation and analysis for Capital Markets, M&A, and Private Equity transactions.

  • Support the team by gathering and analyzing industry research, financial data, and market trends.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive databases on companies within respective sectors.
  • Analyze and prepare detailed information memorandums, valuations, and financial models required for deals.

To excel in this position, you will require:

  • 1-3 years of experience in Investment Banking, preferably in the Industrials sector.
  • A strong educational background, ideally holding an MBA from a reputable institution or CA certification.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and proficiency in Excel.
  • The ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Supporting the Sector Coverage Team in preparing Pitch Books and conducting industry research/analysis
  • Analyzing and preparing Information Memorandum, valuations & financial models required for the deal
  • Assisting in documentation, conducting due diligence, presentations etc.
  • Gathering data from clients and responding to queries in a timely manner
  • Maintaining relevant databases on Companies in respective sectors
