Mainframe Developer Job Opportunity

This role is ideal for an experienced professional seeking a challenging and dynamic position in mainframe technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement, maintain and troubleshoot mainframe applications using Cobol, CICS, VSAM, Supra, Teradata and DB2 software stacks.

• Work with WebSphere MQ Series to ensure seamless data exchange and communication between systems.

• Develop and schedule batch jobs utilizing mainframe schedulers.

• Possess knowledge of REXX language to enhance scripting capabilities.

• Foster strong collaboration and communication skills to effectively interact with clients and colleagues.

• Leverage analytical and problem-solving skills to drive business outcomes and process improvements.

• A background in Retail/CPG domain is advantageous but not essential.

Skill Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience in mainframe technologies including Cobol, CICS, VSAM, Supra, Teradata and DB2.

• 1+ year of experience working on WebSphere MQ Series.

• Experience in scheduler development and management.

• Strong understanding of REXX programming language is beneficial.

• Excellent client-facing skills and ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
