Job Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned Oracle Database professional to manage and maintain mission-critical Oracle databases in a high-pressure production environment.

  1. The ideal candidate will have the following key responsibilities:
    1. Managing daily database operations, including performance tuning, security patches, and backup/recovery procedures
    2. Monitoring database performance, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing solutions to optimize database efficiency
    3. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical issues and ensure smooth business operations
    4. Developing and maintaining comprehensive documentation for database architecture, configurations, and technical processes

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as an Oracle DBA in a production environment
  • Expert-level knowledge of Oracle Database technologies, including RDBMS, SQL, PL/SQL, and data warehousing
  • Proficiency in database administration tools, such as Oracle Enterprise Manager and SQL Developer
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
