Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior QA Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of quality assurance, ensuring the highest standards of software quality.

Your primary focus will be on developing and maintaining comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test environments. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to define and implement quality strategies, testing processes, and automation frameworks that deliver reliable and scalable software solutions.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, with at least 2 years in a leadership or senior QA role. Technical expertise in QA methodologies, test planning, and automation framework building is essential. Proficiency in programming languages like Python, Java, or JavaScript is also required.

You will collaborate with developers and product managers to identify and prioritize testing requirements. Your attention to detail and analytical mindset will enable you to ensure timely defect identification and resolution, maintaining high-quality software products.

To succeed in this role, you must possess excellent communication, leadership, and team management skills. A strong ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions is also necessary.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of QA engineers
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test environments
  • Implement automated testing frameworks using tools like Selenium, Appium, or similar technologies
  • Collaborate with developers and product managers to identify and prioritize testing requirements
  • Ensure timely defect identification and resolution, maintaining high-quality software products
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, with at least 2 years in a leadership or senior QA role
  • Technical expertise in QA methodologies, test planning, and automation framework building
  • Proficiency in programming languages like Python, Java, or JavaScript
  • Experience with CI/CD tools, such as Jenkins or GitLab CI/CD
  • Strong analytical mindset, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and team management skills
