About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Software Quality Assurance Expert to play a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality software.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Test Case Design and Execution: Develop and execute comprehensive test cases for user stories, exploratory testing, regression, and end-to-end test scenarios.
  • Reusable Test Suites: Create and maintain reusable test suites across multiple releases and projects.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with product managers and developers to clarify requirements and ensure testability throughout the SDLC.
  • Defect Management: Track, triage defects, perform root cause analysis, and ensure timely resolution.
  • Automation Support: Contribute to identifying automation opportunities and assist in test data preparation, automation maintenance, and test result validation.
  • Metrics and Reporting: Maintain and update QA metrics dashboards to support continuous process improvement.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, IT, or related field.
  • 5+ years of manual software testing experience in Agile environments.
  • Strong experience with exploratory and structured testing across web-based platforms.
  • 3+ years of experience writing and executing SQL queries using MS SQL Server, Oracle, or PostgreSQL.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or AWS Pipelines.
  • Hands-on experience with version control systems (e.g., Git, GitHub, GitLab) and issue tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps).
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and non-technical teams.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience writing test cases using Gherkin or similar BDD syntax.
  • Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman, ReadyAPI, or REST Assured.
  • Exposure to automated test frameworks, such as Playwright, Selenium/TestNG, or Cypress.
